Role Overview
The F&B Senior Steward is responsible for providing efficient food and beverage service to guests while supporting supervisors in daily restaurant operations. The role includes ensuring service standards, assisting junior stewards, and delivering a pleasant dining experience to guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Operations
- Provide professional food and beverage service to guests in restaurants, banquets, and other outlets.
- Ensure proper table setup, mise en place, and outlet readiness before service.
- Take guest orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas.
Guest Service
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a comfortable dining experience.
- Respond to guest requests and handle basic complaints professionally.
- Provide menu recommendations when required.
Team Support
- Assist supervisors and captains in managing daily service operations.
- Guide and support junior stewards during service.
- Ensure team members follow grooming and service standards.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely preparation and service of orders.
- Assist in handling group service and special events when required.
Quality & Hygiene
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service quality.
- Ensure proper clearing, resetting, and maintenance of tables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
- Good communication and guest handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant service standards.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
