Job Description
As a Pharmacist – Ecure Healthcare Mall at ECURE Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., your role includes responsibilities across network development, provider coordination, product strategy, and business development. Key responsibilities include:
1. Dispensing & Patient Safety
- Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications following legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, clarity, dosage appropriateness, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain strict control over narcotics and controlled substances as per applicable regulations.
2. Clinical Support & Counseling
- Offer medication therapy management (MTM) and patient counseling to improve treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for medication reconciliation and therapy optimization.
- Support chronic disease management programs (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) within the Medical Mall.
3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Ensure optimal stock levels of medicines, vaccines, and consumables based on demand patterns.
- Conduct regular stock rotation, expiry checks, and maintain cold-chain compliance for temperature-sensitive products.
- Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and procurement teams for timely replenishment.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with drug laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and logs as required by regulatory bodies.
- Participate in audits, safety checks, and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Customer Experience & Operations
- Deliver high-quality service aligned with the Medical Mall’s patient experience standards.
- Assist in billing, POS transactions, and coordination with insurance/TPA services where applicable.
- Support digital tools such as e-prescriptions, EMR integration, and patient engagement platforms.
6. Teamwork & Training
- Guide pharmacy assistants, technicians, and support staff in daily operations.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and continuing education initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Medical Mall (clinics, labs, imaging, wellness units).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacy license (preferred).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and billing systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work responsibly and handle customer queries professionally.
