Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) & Billing Engineer to join our onsite project team for an industrial civil construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, measurement verification, client and subcontractor billing, cost monitoring, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
- Verify executed work quantities and maintain measurement records.
- Prepare and submit client RA (Running Account) bills as per contract terms.
- Review, verify, and process subcontractor bills based on actual work executed.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity variations, and extra item statements.
- Track project quantities, costs, and budget utilization.
- Coordinate with the site execution, planning, and procurement teams for billing and quantity reconciliation.
- Maintain billing registers, measurement books (MBs), and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing variation claims, change orders, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company procedures.
- Prepare periodic cost and billing reports for project management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience as a QS and Billing Engineer in industrial, commercial, or civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and RA billing.
- Experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, and quantity reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/billing software is preferred.
- Familiarity with contract terms and construction documentation.
