Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store & Dispatch Executive to manage day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material handling, and dispatch activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in heavy engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing industries and be familiar with EPC project material management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inward and outward movement of raw materials, bought-out items, fabricated components, and finished goods.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel and ensure stock accuracy.
- Organize proper storage of materials to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Planning, and Quality departments for material availability and movement.
- Prepare dispatch documents including delivery challans, packing lists, e-way bills, transport documentation, and invoices (as applicable).
- Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch of project materials.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and loading of materials as per customer and project requirements.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain FIFO practices and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintain housekeeping in the store area.
- Maintain records of tools, consumables, and returnable items.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Stores & Dispatch within a heavy manufacturing, fabrication, EPC, or engineering company.
- Experience in handling project materials, fabricated equipment, structural items, and industrial components.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Understanding of GST-related dispatch documentation and e-way bill generation will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
