We are hiring GM Operations and Production for our client a engineering manufacturing company looking for an experienced and hands-on production incharge to oversee their manufacturing operations.
Location: Near Vega Mall, Outer Ring Road, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru (Near IIM Bangalore)
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and achieve daily and monthly production targets.
* Prepare and monitor production schedules.
* Manage shop floor operations and supervise the production workforce.
* Oversee manufacturing processes including CNC machining, cold heading, screw production, and related engineering operations.
* Coordinate outsourced/alloy and vendor jobs.
* Ensure timely maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.
* Interact with vendors and coordinate procurement and service requirements.
* Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to the Director.
* Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience managing production in an engineering/manufacturing company.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a shop floor workforce.
* Working knowledge of CNC machining is preferred
* Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
* Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to learn our specific manufacturing processes on the job.
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
