Operations & Coordination

Assist in planning and managing transport schedules and routes

Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and logistics teams for timely deliveries

Monitor daily fleet operations and ensure optimum utilization

Track shipments and resolve delays or disruptions
Fleet & Vehicle Management
-
Maintain records of vehicles, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage
-
Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition
-
Coordinate repairs, servicing, and inspections
Compliance & Documentation
-
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
-
Maintain documentation such as permits, insurance, licenses, and logs
-
Prepare reports on transport activities, costs, and performance metrics
Team Support & Supervision

Assist in supervising drivers and transport staff

Monitor driver performance, attendance, and behavior
-
Support training initiatives related to safety and operations
Cost & Efficiency Management

Monitor fuel consumption and operational costs
-
Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement

Assist in budget tracking and expense reporting
Safety & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to road safety standards and company safety protocols

Handle emergency transport situations or breakdowns

Conduct safety checks and awareness programs
Skills

Strong organizational and coordination skills

Knowledge of transport/logistics operations

Familiarity with fleet management systems or GPS tracking tools

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Basic analytical skills for reporting and cost control
Experience

5-7 years of experience in transport/logistics operations (preferred)
