Position: Pharmacist
Job Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, maintaining inventory, and providing professional pharmaceutical services to patients in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify prescriptions for completeness, dosage, and drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain adequate stock and monitor medicine expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per guidelines.
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication requirements.
- Adhere to statutory regulations, NABH standards, and hospital policies.
- Participate in stock audits and inventory management.
Qualification
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy (Freshers may also apply).
Skills
- Good knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and pharmacy software proficiency.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
