About the Role
Infrastructure Development Consortium (IDC) is looking for a dedicated and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at our project site in Champhai, Mizoram. This position is ideal for candidates who have practical knowledge of construction work and site management. An engineering degree is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
- Monitor labor teams and coordinate site operations.
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools and equipment.
- Maintain site safety and discipline.
- Report daily progress to project management.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and local stakeholders as required.
- Assist in quality control and ensure work meets project standards.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of building and construction work.
- Previous experience in construction supervision, site coordination, or related field preferred.
- Ability to manage labor teams and work independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to stay and work in Champhai, Mizoram.
- Knowledge of local language(s) will be an advantage.
- Minimum education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
