Varija Lifestyle is looking for a dynamic and market-savvy Buying & Sourcing Executive with strong knowledge of garment sourcing, fabric procurement, accessories purchasing, and local market operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing materials from Delhi-NCR garment markets and be capable of independently identifying vendors, negotiating prices, arranging purchases, and supporting production requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
· Source and develop vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers for fabrics, garments, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
· Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate costs, and maintain target margins.
· Coordinate with vendors for sampling, product development, and production.
· Prepare purchase orders, challans, cost sheets, and sourcing documentation.
· Create production estimations, consumption calculations, and material requirement plans.
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
· Conduct market research and identify new sourcing opportunities.
· Coordinate with design, merchandising, production, and warehouse teams.
· Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of Delhi-NCR garment markets including Gandhi Nagar, Sadar Bazaar, Chandni Chowk, Harola Market (Noida), and other sourcing hubs.
· Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garment accessories, and sourcing processes.
· Vendor sourcing, procurement, costing, price negotiation, and vendor management.
· Knowledge of production planning, challan preparation, and purchase documentation.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Graduate in Fashion, Textile, Business Administration, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in Buying, Sourcing, Procurement, or Merchandising.
· Experience in Apparel, Fashion, Garments, Uniforms, or Retail Industry preferred.
· Strong network of fabric, trim, garment, and accessory vendors.
· Ability to work independently, visit markets for sourcing, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
