Job Summary
Sigma University is seeking passionate, creative, and qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Design. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, mentoring students, supporting academic activities, and contributing to the overall development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, practical sessions, workshops, and studio-based learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and creative projects.
- Support curriculum development and academic planning activities.
- Participate in seminars, exhibitions, design reviews, and university events.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and student performance reports.
- Contribute to research, innovation, and interdisciplinary activities.
- Support NAAC and accreditation-related documentation and departmental activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Design or relevant specialization from a recognized university.
- Candidates with teaching experience in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Animation, or related fields will be preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and creative skills.
- Knowledge of design software and industry practices will be an added advantage.
