Cook / Kitchen Helper
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Cook / Kitchen Helper to manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at Cafe Miranda.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to Cafe Miranda’s standards and recipes.
- Ensure all orders are prepared accurately, consistently and sent out on time.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth and timely order dispatch.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
- Keep the kitchen, workstations, equipment and storage areas clean and organised.
- Organise and maintain the refrigerator, freezer and kitchen storage.
- Check ingredients regularly and ensure proper storage, labelling and rotation.
- Take proper care of all kitchen equipment and report any damage or issues.
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation, mise en place and closing duties.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the manager when ingredients or supplies need to be replenished.
- Minimise wastage and ensure ingredients are handled responsibly.
- Maintain the overall organisation and smooth functioning of the kitchen during service.
- Take responsibility for the quality and presentation of food going out to customers.
The ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, clean, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Previous café or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
