Role description
Technical Lead
Role purpose: Provide technical leadership, solution oversight, escalation support, and delivery governance for the Resort Sales ADM portfolio. The Tech Lead will ensure application stability, code quality, production readiness, and effective coordination across US, Manila, India, Disney SMEs, and platform teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate conceptual and implement design while leading more junior level team members.
- Lead technical analysis, design reviews, estimation, and solution approach for minor enhancements, defects, and production fixes.
- Own technical triage for Sev 1/Sev 2 incidents and coordinate root-cause analysis across application, cloud, database, security, and integration teams.
- Guide developers and QA resources on Java Spring, REST/SOAP APIs, AWS services, logging, monitoring, release readiness, and regression strategy.
- Review code, deployment plans, test evidence, change records, and production validation outcomes.
- Maintain technical standards, runbooks, knowledge base articles, support playbooks, and onboarding material.
- Identify automation, observability, resiliency, and technical debt reduction opportunities.
Required skills and experience: 10+ years of application development/support experience, strong Java Spring and REST/API background, AWS/cloud experience, production support leadership, incident/problem/change management exposure, and ability to work across distributed teams and business stakeholders.
