Food Preparation: Assist in washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients. Help marinate meats, poultry, and seafood according to traditional recipes
Dough and Bread Prep: Shape and prepare dough (naan, roti, kulcha) for baking
Oven Management: Load and unload the tandoor oven safely using skewers (seekhs). Monitor cooking times to prevent burning
Station Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the tandoor station, including the oven, skewers, and surrounding surfaces, following food safety standards
Supply and Inventory: Stock ingredients, spices, and charcoal or fuel for the tandoor
General Assistance: Help the head chef plate dishes, pack takeout orders, and wash kitchen utensils during busy service hours
