Job Description:
We're seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team and play a key role in crafting exceptional websites and web experiences. You'll leverage your expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and headless CMS platforms to build, customize, and maintain high-performing websites for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom themes, plugins, and extensions for WordPress websites.
- Design and build e-commerce websites using Shopify, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Integrate headless CMS solutions with front-end frameworks to create dynamic and scalable websites.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to translate their vision into a user-friendly CMS experience.
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness across all devices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing CMS installations, resolving bugs and technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in CMS development and security.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on managing their CMS websites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CMS Developer with a strong focus on WordPress.
- In-depth knowledge of Shopify development and theme customization.
- Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and experience with or headless WordPress is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with PHP and MySQL for WordPress development.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with other CMS platforms (e.g., Joomla, Umbraco).
- Experience with API integrations and data management.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
