We are hiring a Cardiac Anesthetist with the following qualifications and credentials required for the position
Core Qualifications
- MD / DNB in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- DM / Fellowship / Specialized training in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred.
- Valid State Medical Council registration.
- Minimum experience in handling adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries independently.
- Expertise in invasive monitoring, ventilator management, ACLS, and critical care support.
- Strong communication, emergency response, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
His main duties and responsibilities would be as follows:-
Job Description – Cardiac Anesthetist
- Administer anesthesia for all cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, congenital and emergency surgeries.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluation and risk assessment of cardiac patients before surgery.
- Monitor and manage intra-operative hemodynamic stability, airway management, ventilatory support, and critical care parameters.
- Coordinate closely with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Perfusionists, Intensivists, and OT teams for safe surgical outcomes.
- Handle advanced cardiac anesthesia techniques including invasive monitoring, TEE support, and management during cardiopulmonary bypass.
- Supervise post-operative pain management, ICU transfer protocols, and immediate post-surgical recovery of cardiac patients.
- Ensure adherence to NABH protocols, patient safety standards, infection control practices, and accurate medical documentation.
Pay: ₹73,959.80 - ₹196,074.29 per month
