Major purpose of the job : • Responsible for overall management of Biotech-QC department. Principal task and responsibilities : • Ensuring planning of the QC functional activities and sample analysis execution activity completed on time to reach market requirement and organizational goal achievement. • Ensuring implementation of quality management system in Biotech-QC department. • Planning and coordination with cross functional department, outside laboratory, service engineers and vendors for the sample analysis activity, instrument services/maintenance/calibration activity/procurement/documentation and proper functioning of the section. • To be updated/imparted training to subordinates timely for maintaining the Quality system and procedure in lab as per Regulatory Requirement. • Ensuring review, implementation and accountability of all required documents such as SOPs, Specifications, STPs, Protocols, Reports, etc. as per requirement related to the Biotech Products timely according to the updated regulatory/cGMP/GLP requirements. • Any other work assigned by the management.
