Job Title: Store Assistant
Job Summary
The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting store operations within the factory by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock records, proper material handling, and timely availability of materials for production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Issue materials to production departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
- Assist in stock counting, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Organize materials systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to the Store In-Charge.
- Prepare goods receipt notes (GRN), material issue slips, and other store-related documents.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store area.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience in a factory store, warehouse, or inventory management role preferred.
- Freshers may be considered for entry-level positions.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory and store management practices.
- Ability to maintain records accurately.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Salary: 12000 to 14000
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
