A restaurant in Bhubaneswar is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef specializing in Indian, Tandoori, and Chinese cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary skills, creativity in food preparation, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian, Tandoori, and Chinese dishes according to menu standards.
- Maintain taste consistency, presentation, and quality of food.
- Ensure proper kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Manage ingredient preparation, marination, and cooking processes.
- Monitor inventory, stock usage, and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food service.
- Develop new menu items and specials when required.
- Ensure proper use of tandoor, wok, and other kitchen equipment.
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience as a Chef or Cook in Indian, Tandoori, or Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking, gravies, and Chinese wok preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with good time management skills.
