Job Summary:
The Admission Counsellor is responsible for managing the school's admission process, guiding prospective parents and students, promoting the school's programs, and ensuring a seamless admission experience. The role involves converting enquiries into admissions while maintaining positive relationships with parents and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all admission enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, website enquiries, and social media.
- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school's curriculum, facilities, admission process, and fee structure.
- Conduct campus tours and school presentations for prospective families.
- Follow up with parents to convert enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the school's database.
- Coordinate admission tests, interviews, and documentation.
- Verify and collect all required admission documents.
- Prepare and issue admission forms, fee details, and offer letters.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments during the admission process.
- Achieve admission targets set by the school management.
- Organize and participate in admission drives, education fairs, open houses, and promotional events.
- Build relationships with parents to ensure a positive admission experience.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
- Assist in student retention initiatives and parent engagement activities.
- Address parent queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with school admission policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, customer relationship management, or educational institutions.
- Experience in school admissions will be preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.

- Ability to build rapport with parents and students.
- Good presentation and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM or School ERP systems is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Availability to work on Sundays and during school admission events.
- May require additional hours during peak admission seasons.
