Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive business growth for our Electrical Power Projects division. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, generating leads, participating in tendering activities, and securing EPC and electrical infrastructure projects from government and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Electrical Power and EPC sector.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and client interactions.
- Build and maintain relationships with government departments, utilities, consultants, contractors, and private clients.
- Track upcoming tenders and project opportunities through various portals.
- Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for bid preparation and proposal submission.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and maintain project pipelines.
- Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Travel to project locations and client offices as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing in the Electrical Power/EPC industry.
- Experience in handling government and private sector projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Projects, EPC contracts, and T&D/Substation projects.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and government procurement portals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Market research and strategic planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
