Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and delivering high-quality products.
While the primary focus is on manual testing, automation is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects/bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning activities.
- Conduct API testing, UI testing, and database validation where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience in functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Basic knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setup.
Good to Have
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with performance or security testing basics.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
