About the Role
Surendra Group is looking for a skilled and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations independently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in financial accounting, GST compliance, statutory filings, and bookkeeping. The candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling accounting functions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST return filing and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and taxation regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and MIS reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records and invoices.
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field from a recognized and reputed university.
- Additional certifications such as M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in independently managing accounting operations is mandatory.
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST laws, GST filing, and tax compliance.
- Good understanding of TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,559.63 - ₹41,810.14 per month
