About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detailed-oriented CS Trainee / Analyst - M&A team to support our Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Restructuring, and NCLT practice. The role offers excellent exposure to complex corporate transactions, regulatory filings, corporate restructuring assignments, and legal documentation.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, secretarial compliances, and corporate legal documentation with a keen interest in M&A and restructuring assignments.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Mergers, Amalgamations & Corporate Restructuring

Supporting end-to-end execution of merger, demerger, amalgamation, and restructuring assignments.

Preparation of documentation related to NCLT / fast track mergers under applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.

Assisting in capital reduction and corporate restructuring schemes.

Coordinating with clients, legal counsels, auditors, and regulatory authorities throughout the transaction lifecycle.
NCLT Matters
-
Liaising with NCLT, Regional Director (RD), Registrar of Companies (ROC), Official Liquidator (OL) and other regulatory authorities.

Preparation and filing of petitions, applications, affidavits, and supporting documents.

Tracking hearings, regulatory approvals, and compliance timelines.
