Job Title: Driver cum Cashier (Delivery Route)
Location: Gurgaon-Sector-63A, Kadarpur
Reports To: Logistics Manager / Operations Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver cum Cashier to manage daily delivery routes, ensure timely delivery of goods, collect payments, and maintain accurate transaction records. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, customer-focused, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive the delivery vehicle on assigned routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
- Handle cash and digital payments from customers securely.
- Issue receipts or invoices and collect signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain and reconcile daily cash collections and hand over to the accounts department.
- Check the vehicle daily for maintenance and cleanliness.
- Load and unload goods as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries politely and professionally during deliveries.
- Maintain delivery logs, payment records, and related documentation accurately.
- Report any delivery or payment issues immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid driving license (LMV).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver; experience handling cash is a plus.
- Basic math skills to handle cash and reconcile payments.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with local delivery routes and areas.
- Basic knowledge of invoice and receipt processing.
- Experience in FMCG / courier / retail delivery industries is an advantage.
