Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure that engineering components meet the required quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in component inspection and be proficient in using various measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished engineering components as per quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Identify, record, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Ensure calibration and proper handling of measuring instruments.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.
Required Skills
- Sound knowledge of engineering component inspection.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer (Inside & Outside)
- Height Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Depth Gauge
- Feeler Gauge
- Slip Gauges
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection of engineering/manufacturing components.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry is preferred.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Location: Coimbatore Plant.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
