Job Summary
SCR Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and senior-level Vendor Development Manager to strengthen our Purchase. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, vendor coordination, rate negotiations, procurement monitoring, purchase management, and vendor payment coordination as per management instructions.
The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, excellent vendor contacts, negotiation abilities, and experience in handling procurement and vendor operations efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Development & Management
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
· Identify reliable vendors for competitive rates and quality services.
· Source new vendors for vehicle operations and support services.
· Maintain vendor database, agreements, and service records.
· Monitor vendor performance and service quality regularly.
Purchase Monitoring
· Monitor daily purchase and procurement activities.
· Ensure timely procurement as per operational requirements.
· Compare quotations and negotiate the best commercial terms.
· Ensure cost control and procurement efficiency.
· Coordinate with internal departments for smooth procurement operations.
Vendor Rate Negotiation
· Negotiate competitive vendor rates and commercial agreements.
· Ensure quality service delivery within approved budgets.
· Conduct market analysis and vendor benchmarking.
Vendor Payment Coordination
· Coordinate with Accounts and Billing departments for timely vendor payments.
· Monitor pending vendor payments and resolve payment-related issues.
· Ensure proper documentation and approvals before payment processing.
Reporting & Compliance
· Prepare procurement reports, vendor analysis, and cost-saving reports.
· Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and management instructions.
· Support management with operational and vendor-related requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Purchase, or Vendor Management.
· Strong vendor network and industry contacts.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor payment coordination.
· Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to handle multiple vendor operations efficiently.
Preferred Industry Experience
· Car rental, mobility, transport, travel, or service industry experience preferred.
Salary
As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Job Location
Mumbai
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
