Responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications. Their core responsibilities include:
1. Development and Maintenance
- Write clean, well-designed PHP code using CodeIgniter or Laravel Framework
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases for performance.
2. Database Management
- Design and implement database schemas.
- Write complex SQL queries and ensure database security.
- Optimize database performance and handle migrations.
3. Integration
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Work with APIs to fetch and display data.
- Implement third-party integrations such as payment gateways or social media.
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
5. Testing and Documentation
- Perform unit testing and validation to ensure application reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
6. Security
- Implement security measures such as data validation and encryption.
7. Soft Skills :
- The candidate should possess good communication and interpersonal skills and have excellent command over English (verbal and written).
Education Qualification :
- BE / BCS / MCA / MSc (Comp. Sc.) (IT preferred).
