Job Summary
Ajanta Footcare (India) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for energetic and customer-focused Counter Salesmen to join our retail store at Jadavpur, Kolkata. Candidates with a passion for sales and customer service are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting suitable products.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate footwear and accessories.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Handle billing, cash transactions, and POS operations.
- Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and visual merchandising.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive customer relationships.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above.
Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in Retail Sales.
- Experience in Footwear, Apparel, FMCG, Pharmacy, or any Retail industry will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with good communication skills are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service and selling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of POS/Billing software is preferred.
- Sales-oriented and target-driven mindset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
