Junior Advocate – Land Revenue Matters | Kolkata
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Advocate to assist in handling Land Revenue and Property Law matters. The role involves drafting legal documents, preparing petitions and applications, conducting legal research, coordinating with revenue authorities, maintaining case records, and appearing before Revenue Courts, Land Reforms Authorities, and other quasi-judicial forums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, petitions, notices, and legal opinions.
- Assisting in land mutation, conversion, partition, demarcation, and land record matters.
- Liaising with government departments and revenue authorities.
- Conducting legal research on land laws and revenue regulations.
- Attending court hearings and assisting senior advocates in litigation matters.
- Managing case files and client documentation.
Requirements:
- LL.B. degree with enrollment at the Bar Council.
- 0–3 years of experience in civil, property, or land revenue matters.
- Strong drafting and research skills.
- Knowledge of land records, revenue proceedings, and property laws.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple matters efficiently.
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
