Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior BIM Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in BIM Electrical modeling and coordination, with exposure to international projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing BIM models, preparing construction documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schedules, and construction documentation.
- Model and coordinate electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, cable trays, conduits, earthing, and low-voltage systems.
- Perform clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks.
- Collaborate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure coordinated and accurate project deliverables.
- Review project specifications, design standards, and client requirements for model development.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support the resolution of design and construction conflicts.
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards, quality requirements, and international best practices.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and model updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in BIM Electrical modeling and coordination.
- Experience working on International Projects (US, UK, Middle East, Australia, or other global markets preferred).
- Strong understanding of:
- Lighting Systems
- Power Distribution Systems
- Cable Tray & Conduit Routing
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
- Low Voltage (LV) Systems
- Proficiency in:
- Revit MEP
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with international codes, standards, and BIM execution plans.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows, clash resolution, and model coordination processes.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary BIM environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
