About the Role
RhythmRX Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist – Electronics to oversee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for electronic components, equipment, and related systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, and seamless coordination with internal teams to support production, R&D, and operational requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for electronic components and systems.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and procurement contracts to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery timelines, and service reliability.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and alternative suppliers.
Procurement Operations
- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, from requirement gathering to material delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and R&D teams to understand purchasing requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and verify material quality upon receipt.
- Support inventory planning activities to prevent shortages, delays, or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
Cost Control & Compliance
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining required quality standards.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and established procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, vendor contracts, quotations, and supplier records.
- Assist in procurement reporting and analysis as required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations (electronics or manufacturing industry experience preferred).
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, sourcing, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
