Qualification: Bachelor of Architecture
Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Architect with 1–1.5 years of experience to assist in architectural design, working drawings, site coordination, and project documentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and basic understanding of construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural plans, sections, elevations, and working drawings.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements.
- Assist senior architects in design development and drawing preparation.
- Prepare construction details and architectural detailing.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
- Visit construction sites and coordinate with the site team regarding architectural drawings.
- Check site execution as per approved architectural drawings and details.
- Prepare revised drawings and as-built drawings when required.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and site engineers.
- Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions.
- Assist in preparing material details, schedules, and project documentation.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and report them to the senior architect.
- Follow up on pending drawings and coordinate for timely completion.
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural working drawings and construction details.
- Basic knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / Photoshop will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience
- 1–1.5 years of relevant experience in an architectural firm, construction company, or real-estate project.
- Candidates with experience in working drawings and site coordination will be preferred.
