Job Summary
The 3D Civil Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs & cost estimates for residential, commercial & mixed-use real estate projects. The role involves converting architectural & engineering concepts into detailed construction drawings, preparing quantity estimates & project cost calculations, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants & project teams & supporting project execution from design through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D architectural, civil & structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop high-quality 3D models & realistic visualizations for client presentations, approvals & marketing.
- Prepare site layouts, master plans, floor plans, elevations, sections & detailed working drawings.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on approved drawings & project specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs for excavation, concrete, reinforcement steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing works, roads, drainage & external development works.
- Prepare preliminary & detailed cost estimates using current market rates & standard schedules of rates.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, procurement & project management teams.
- Update drawings based on design revisions, client feedback & site changes.
- Ensure compliance with local building bye-laws, development regulations, project specifications & quality standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, BOQ records, revision histories & project documentation.
- Assist procurement by preparing material quantity schedules & material take-offs.
- Support project planning by providing quantity & cost inputs during execution.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Draftsmanship.
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp, or BIM tools is preferred.
- Certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Estimation is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in civil drafting, quantity surveying, BOQ preparation & cost estimation.
- Experience in residential, commercial, township, villa, or mixed-use real estate projects is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
