KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Transition
- Lead technical knowledge transfer from Commerce platform vendor— audit all customisations, integrations, and runbooks
- Establish run-state operating model: incident mgmt, monitoring, SLAs, and upgrade governance Pod Leadership
- Lead a pod of .NET, QA & front-end engineers delivering platform features and customer onboarding
- Own engineering standards: code review, CI/CD, branching strategy, sprint ceremonies
- Primary technical contact for customer product, engineering & programme leadership Commerce Engineering
- Architect platform customisations: Provider Engine, Custom Tables, Custom APIs, multi- catalog pricing
- Design & maintain ERP / OMS / PIM integrations via Commerce Connector and custom middleware
- Own the customer onboarding playbook: storefront provisioning, catalog config, multi-store admin CMS & AI Innovation
- Manage CMS integration (Znode native CMS)
- Champion AI-enabled features: Github Copilot based fast code understanding and refactoring
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 10+ years ASP.NET / C# / .NET Core in enterprise production systems
- 3+ years leading engineering pods or squads (4–8 developers)
- B2B commerce platform customisation — Znode, Elastic Path, SAP CX, or similar
- REST API architecture & API-first platform integration patterns
- ERP / OMS integration
- SQL Server — T-SQL, schema design, query optimisation, ETL
- CI/CD & DevOps — AWS DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker
STRONG PLUS
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture design & operations
- Znode platform: Provider Engine, Custom Tables, Custom APIs
- CMS integration: Sitefinity, Umbraco, or headless CMS
NICE TO HAVE
