Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AC and DC EV charging stations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and electrical faults.
- Attend service calls and breakdowns within assigned timelines.
- Replace defective components and spares such as contactors, relays, connectors, cables, communication modules, SMPS units, and other charger parts.
- Monitor charger performance and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, inspection records, and spare inventory records.
- Coordinate with the operations team for issue escalation and resolution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Assist in charger commissioning, testing, and recommissioning activities.
- Support remote troubleshooting using charger management systems and OCPP platforms.
- Ensure adherence to company safety procedures and documentation requirements.
- Prepare periodic maintenance and uptime reports.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, or industrial equipment servicing.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of AC/DC charging systems and EV charging standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, communication protocols, and OCPP is an advantage.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and network diagnostic tools.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
