Job Summary:
The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient inventory management, supervising staff, and maintaining high customer service standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive sales while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Management:
- Oversee day-to-day store activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations.
- Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and stock arrangement.
Inventory & Stock Control:
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock availability.
- Oversee stock ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Conduct regular stock audits and prevent inventory discrepancies.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Supervise store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, updates, and challenges.
- Foster a positive work environment to enhance team productivity.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely stock deliveries.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules for inventory procurement.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong retail and inventory management expertise.
- Excellent team leadership and staff supervision abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduate
Experience: Proven 2-5 years of experience in store incharge role.
