About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Tender Executive – Electrical Engineering to join our growing team at Reliserv Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Control & Relay Panel (CRP) and Substation Automation System (SAS) projects. This role is central to our pre-sales and tendering operations, covering end-to-end tender management, technical estimation, proposal preparation, vendor coordination, and sales support for turnkey substation projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrical engineering professional to contribute to large-scale power and substation projects while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Management & Estimation (CRP / SAS / Turnkey Projects):
- Identify and track relevant government and private sector tenders via GeM Portal, NIC, and state e-procurement portals
- Thoroughly review tender documents to assess eligibility, technical specifications, and commercial requirements
- Lead end-to-end BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation, pricing, compliance documentation, and bid submission
- Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and finance teams for technically compliant and competitive bid preparation
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of technical and commercial bids along with all required declarations and annexures
- Manage post-bid activities including pre-bid meetings, corrigendum responses, technical clarifications, and bid negotiations
- Maintain a structured database of tender submissions, win/loss outcomes, pricing benchmarks, and competitor analysis
- Support senior management and business development teams in project coordination and strategic bidding decisions
2. Sales Support & Business Development
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations tailored to customer requirements and close orders
- Conduct technical evaluation of customer RFQs / RFPs and provide appropriate solutions for CRP & SAS systems
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and scope with customers to achieve revenue targets and order closures
- Coordinate technically between vendors, OEMs, and customers to ensure smooth communication and offer finalization
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in power utilities, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and annual order booking targets.
3. Technical Coordination & Engineering Support
- Apply strong knowledge of substation controls, relay protection schemes, panel schematics, and SAS architecture
- Select appropriate panel components and relay models (numerical/static) based on customer specifications and protection schemes
- Prepare detailed BOQ for CRP & SAS material procurement including relays, panels, SCADA, RTU, and auxiliary equipment
- Evaluate technical offers from vendors for CRP & SAS equipment and coordinate with procurement and execution teams for PO placement
- Provide technical support to internal teams for relay selection, panel engineering, and related product queries
- Coordinate with execution teams on engineering clarifications, site queries, and field changes during project execution
- Understand and interpret technical specifications, scope of work, and SLD/single-line diagrams for tendering purposes
- Knowledge of communication systems including PLCC, FOTE, IEC 61850, and their integration with CRP/SAS systems.
4. Team Management & Reporting
- Collaborate with and mentor junior team members for BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and bid management
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, tender pipeline dashboards, and bid status summaries for management review
- Ensure compliance with company processes, ISO documentation standards, and client-specific quality requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Substation Automation System (SAS) design and BOQ preparation
- Control & Relay Panel (CRP) engineering and estimation
- Relay protection: numerical relays, differential, distance, overcurrent protection schemes
- Turnkey substation project tendering and estimation
- BOQ / BOM preparation for electrical and substation projects
- GeM Portal, Ariba, CPPP, NIC, and state e-procurement portals
- Knowledge of IEC 61850, SCADA, RTU, HMI, PLCC, FOTE
- Familiarity with SLD interpretation, SAS architecture, and relay coordination
- Vendor evaluation, technical comparison, and procurement coordination

Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (mandatory)
- 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in tendering, estimation, or pre-sales in the electrical/power sector
- Prior experience in CRP/SAS/turnkey substation projects is highly preferred
- Exposure to government e-procurement portals (GeM, NIC, CPPP) is essential
- Experience in vendor management, BOQ preparation, and project coordination.
