Role Description
The Account Executive supports the Accounts & Finance department of Aravali College of Engineering & Management (ACEM) in day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and documentation. The role assists the Accountant / Finance Officer in maintaining accurate records, processing routine payments and receipts, and ensuring compliance with institutional financial procedures and applicable regulatory norms.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system, including cash and bank entries.
- Assist in fee collection, receipt generation, and reconciliation of student fee accounts.
- Process routine vendor invoices, purchase bills, and petty cash expenses under supervision.
- Maintain and update ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Support bank reconciliation and day-end cash reconciliation activities.
- Help prepare basic MIS reports, expense summaries, and department-wise expenditure statements.
- Coordinate with vendors, students, and internal departments for routine account queries and follow-ups.
- File and maintain financial records, invoices, and correspondence in an organized manner for easy retrieval and audit.
- Support the Accountant during internal and statutory audits by compiling requested documents.
- Educational Qualifications
- B.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent from a recognized university (essential).
- Basic knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel is required.
- Experience Required
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance support roles; freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply.
- Prior exposure to an educational institution's accounts department will be an added advantage.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound communication skills for coordinating with students, vendors, and staff.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet routine reporting deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
