Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring 2–3 years of professional experience in the design and development of LV & MV switchgear. You will be responsible for creating precise sheet metal designs, managing assembly layouts, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards for safety and reliability .
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical enclosures and internal structures for LV/MV switchgear, ensuring structural integrity and functional efficiency.
Create complex sheet metal parts, considering bend deductions, material thickness, and manufacturing constraints.
Expert-level skills in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, and sheet metal modules).Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and layout planning.
Generate and maintain accurate BOMs for all designs to support procurement and production phases, including proper drafting and maintenance procedures.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards and internal quality protocols.
Requirements:
Diploma / BE (Electrical or Mechanical)
2–3 years of experience in mechanical designing in Autocad and Solidworks(Sheet Metal)
Strong knowledge of execution practices and billing
Ability to work on industrial projects along with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
