We are looking for a detail-oriented Artwork and Proof Setup Specialist to prepare accurate production-ready artwork for custom branded garments, promotional products, and merchandise.
The role involves converting approved customer artwork into department-wise proof setups and print/production files for Embroidery, Silk Screen Printing, DTF Printing, and Laser Cutline work.
*Key responsibilities*
* Create clear customer/order proof setup sheets with:
* Project number and PO number
* Department title
* Garment/product details
* Logo placement, dimensions, and correct visual proportion
* Enlarged logo views and specification notes
* Standard proof header and disclaimer
* Prepare separate proof setup pages for each production department, such as Embroidery, Screen Printing, DTF, and Laser Cutline.
* Prepare Silk Screen artwork:
* Clean vector separations - no auto tracing
* Correct colour layers, spot-white handling, underbase/underlay setup, trapping and registration marks
* Illustrator/PDF production files
* Prepare DTF print files:
* Correctly sized artwork at 300 DPI
* Transparent background where required
* PNG, EPS, PSD, SVG, AI, or PDF output as appropriate
* Prepare laser cutline files:
* Clean outlined vector artwork with no intersecting strokes
* Layered artwork, maximum three colour/layer construction where required
* AI, EPS, PDF, or CDR-ready files
* Support embroidery digitizing preparation:
* Simplify complex artwork for clean stitching
* Understand embroidery limitations, puff vs non-puff requirements, densities, underlays, pull compensation, and material impact
* Coordinate with digitizers and production teams to ensure the best possible final output
* Review artwork carefully before release to avoid errors in logo size, placement, order details, colours, and production instructions.
*Required skills*
* Strong Adobe Illustrator skills; Photoshop/CorelDRAW knowledge is an advantage.
* Experience in vector artwork, print separations, garment decoration, promotional products, or apparel production.
* Understanding of screen printing, DTF, embroidery/digitizing, and laser-cut production requirements.
* Strong attention to detail, file organisation, and ability to work with multiple orders under deadlines.
* Good written communication for clear production notes and proof instructions.
*Preferred experience*
* 1-3 years in a print shop, promotional products company, apparel decoration business, signage, or production-art environment.
* Familiarity with EMB/DST files and embroidery run sheets is a strong advantage.
Pay: ₹12,391.53 - ₹25,000.00 per month
