Lambda Technologies LLP is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm System Maintenance Technician to join our Service & Maintenance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Fire Alarm System and PA Systems at Mangalore project sites. The candidate should be capable of coordinating with technical team, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and service requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for Fire Alarm and PA Systems.
- Coordinate with team for site clearance, work execution, inspection, and completion of assigned jobs.
- Read and understand technical drawings and execute work according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Smoke Detectors, Fire Pumps, Fire Hydrant Systems, and related fire protection equipment.
- Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for various Fire & Security Systems.
- Conduct regular checking and servicing of Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Systems.
- Checking and servicing of Fire Detection Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrant Systems, Gas Flooding Systems, Fire Pumps, and Fire Extinguishers.
- Identify system faults, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain daily, monthly, and annual maintenance reports.
- Identify spare parts and consumable requirements based on maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper service records, maintenance documentation, and site reports.
- Ensure all maintenance and service activities are carried out as per company procedures, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and PA Systems.
- Practical experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems.
- Experience in maintenance and servicing of Fire Alarm, Smoke Detectors, Fire Hydrant Systems, and other Fire Protection Systems.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.
- Experience in Fire Alarm Systems installed in apartments, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and other infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Fire Fighting Equipment and related safety systems.
- Candidates with experience in industrial and commercial Fire & Security System maintenance will be preferred.
