What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. We’re looking for someone who is both analytical and an excellent communicator. You also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude.
The focus should be on Data Modelling, KPIs & Power BI reports
Job Responsibilities
1. Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
2. Developing dashboards, reports and visualization using various charts like maps, sca er plots, gan s, bubbles, histograms, heat maps, funnel, and Highlight tables etc.
3. Translate business requirements to technical specifications
4. Understanding data modeling, data schemas and data sources that need be integrated with the BI tools
5. Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analysis
6. Create visualizations and reports for the customers and perform quality assurance checks on reports.
7. Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
8. Create and update technical documentation
9. Explore and learn new techniques to solve business problems creatively
10. Collaborate with many teams - engineering and business, to build be er and optimized reporting solutions
Qualification
1. Over 4-6 years of experience with one of the reporting tools like Looker, AWS Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, etc. 2. Hands-on experience of writing SQL queries
3. Design, build and deploy BI solutions.
4. Good understanding of data models and data warehouse design.
5. Good understanding of Excel, ETL and other data visualization tools/pla orms..
6. Experience in BI Analysis & Cube languages( DAX, MDX)
7. Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, D3) technologies
8. User & Role management, Implement row level access policy
9. Experience in con guring reports from di erent data sources using data blending
10. Hands-on experience of Relational database & and creating Data Warehouse
