Location: Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital, Faridabad
Qualification: MD / DNB in Anesthesia
Experience: 1–2 years in Critical Care / ICU setup
Job Summary
The Consultant Critical Care will be responsible for managing critically ill patients in ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care, clinical decision-making and adherence to hospital protocols and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Care & Clinical Management
- Manage all ICU patients including ventilated and non-ventilated cases
- Perform detailed clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Monitor critically ill patients and modify treatment as required
- Handle emergency situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, respiratory failure
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records, progress notes, and treatment charts
2. ICU Management
- Oversee day-to-day functioning of ICU
- Ensure availability and proper use of ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps)
- Maintain infection control protocols in ICU
- Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care delivery
- Ensure adherence to ICU protocols and clinical pathways
3. Procedures & Interventions
- Perform ICU procedures such as:
- Intubation & airway management
- Central line / arterial line insertion
- ABG analysis & interpretation
- Ventilator management
- CPR and resuscitation
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with consultants of other specialties for multidisciplinary care
- Communicate patient condition and prognosis to patient attendants
- Participate in clinical rounds and case discussions
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes
5. Documentation & Compliance (NABH)
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Follow NABH guidelines, hospital policies, and protocols
- Ensure medico-legal documentation compliance
- Participate in audits, quality improvement, and clinical meetings
6. Training & Development
- Guide junior doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff
- Participate in CME programs, workshops, and training sessions
- Stay updated with latest clinical practices and ICU protocols

Pay: ₹160,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
