Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to manage, maintain, and analyze business data to support decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills, experience with reporting and data management, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely MIS reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
- Generate ad hoc reports based on business requirements.
- Monitor KPIs and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Automate recurring reports using Excel functions, Power Query, or other reporting tools where applicable.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather and verify required information.
- Identify data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation of reports and reporting processes.
- Support management with business analysis and performance tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in MIS reporting or data management (freshers with strong Excel skills may also be considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF statements, charts, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, or Power BI is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
