Job Summary
The Banking Loan Officer in the Department of Student Welfare (DSW) will be responsible for facilitating and managing education loan support services for students and parents.
The role involves coordinating with banking institutions, assisting with loan documentation, tracking loan applications, resolving financial assistance queries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient education loan process.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, coordination, documentation, and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to handle student and parent concerns professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Commerce, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in education loans, banking coordination, financial counselling, admissions support, or student finance operations will be preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Education Loan Assistance
- Guide students and parents regarding education loan procedures, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and application processes.
- Assist applicants in completing and verifying education loan application forms and related documentation.
- Coordinate with banking institutions and financial partners for smooth processing, approvals, and disbursement of education loans.
- Explain loan policies, repayment structures, moratorium periods, interest rates, and institutional formalities to applicants.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students, parents, and banking partners regarding application status and pending requirements.
- Support students in resolving issues related to loan delays, discrepancies, or rejections.
B. Documentation & Compliance
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of student documents required for loan processing.
- Maintain records related to loan applications, approvals, pending cases, rejected applications, and disbursement status.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and banking documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with students and parents for collection of pending documents and timely submission of required paperwork.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation standards for all financial and student-related records.
C. Banking Coordination & Financial Support Operations
- Build and maintain professional relationships with banking institutions and financial partners.
- Coordinate education loan camps, awareness sessions, financial literacy initiatives, and student assistance programs.
- Ensure smooth communication between the institution, students, parents, and banking representatives.
- Collaborate with admissions, finance, and student welfare teams during admission and fee collection cycles.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for efficient loan facilitation services.
D. Reporting & Administrative Support
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loan application status, approvals, disbursements, pending cases, and closures.
- Track and monitor loan conversion ratios and banking coordination activities.
- Maintain updated databases and records related to student financial assistance services.
- Support departmental operations and administrative tasks related to student financial support initiatives.
Pay: ₹29,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
