Job Summary
The SAP S/4HANA ABAP Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting SAP applications and custom developments in SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant works closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Development & Enhancement
Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP objects in SAP S/4HANA.
Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
Perform custom code remediation and adaptation during S/4HANA conversion projects.
Analyze, debug, and optimize existing ABAP programs for performance improvements.
SAP S/4HANA Development
Develop and enhance:
CDS Views
AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
OData Services
RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
ABAP on HANA objects
Support S/4HANA simplification item remediation.
Integration & Interfaces
Develop and maintain:
RFCs
BAPIs
IDOCs
Web Services
APIs
Integrate SAP with third-party applications and cloud platforms.
SAP Fiori & UI Technologies
Support SAP Fiori applications and backend services.
Develop and enhance OData services to enable SAP Fiori solutions.
Collaborate with UI5/Fiori developers.
Project Delivery
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
Prepare technical specifications and design documents.
Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Skill Requirements
Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.Expertise in:

Adobe Forms
SAP Scripts
Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits
Enhancement Framework
Object-Oriented ABAP
Performance Tuning
Debugging
Experience with:
ATC Remediation
SPAU/SPDD Adjustments
Custom Code Adaptation
S/4HANA Conversion Projects
Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori concepts.
Other Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP ABAP Certification.
SAP S/4HANA Certification preferred.
Experience in at least one end-to-end S/4HANA Implementation or Conversion project.
Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models
SAP BTP Extension Development.SAP Integration Suite.RAP and CAP development.SAP Build Process Automation.Cloud-native SAP development experience.
