Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role requires close coordination with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and the project management team. (LinkedIn Business Solutions)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide technical guidance to supervisors, contractors, and site teams.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and construction quality.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and report delays or potential risks.
- Verify quantities of work completed and assist with material requirements and planning.
- Ensure required materials, manpower, tools, and equipment are available for planned activities.
- Monitor the proper utilization of construction materials and minimize wastage.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and testing of construction works and materials.
- Maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.
- Attend site coordination and progress meetings as required.
- Assist with preparation of RFIs, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented for identified quality or safety issues.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging/punch-list activities, and project handover.
- Immediately report significant technical, quality, safety, or schedule concerns to the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electronics
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer, or similar construction-site role preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and relevant MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and health and safety requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant construction/project management software is desirable. (LinkedIn Business Solutions)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
