Cloud Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, Oracle Cloud services, and best practices for deploying and maintaining scalable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and environments.
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Oracle Cloud applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for managing cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams for cloud-based application deployment.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle Cloud environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud features, services, and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures for internal use and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture. /AWS / Azure
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Autonomous Database Specialist) / Azure / AWS are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
