Position: Senior Engineer – Wireless & Electrical Systems

Job Summary
Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining wireless communication equipment and electrical systems. The role involves ensuring the reliable operation of communication and electrical equipment used in marine, industrial, or shipyard environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair wireless communication equipment, including VHF/UHF radios, walkie-talkies, antennas, GPS systems, and related communication devices.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment, control panels, motors, batteries, power supplies, and associated systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on communication and electrical systems.
- Conduct testing, calibration, and commissioning of repaired equipment.
- Analyze technical faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding technical issues and repairs.
- Guide and supervise technicians and junior engineers during maintenance activities.
- Support onboard and shore-based troubleshooting when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics.
- Expertise in fault finding, testing, and calibration techniques.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance practices.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in wireless communication systems will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
