Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and oversee the execution of interior spaces for residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe environments that meet project requirements and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, budget, and timeline.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and presentation materials.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using design software.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and procurement schedules.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, sustainability practices, and design innovations.
- Resolve design and construction-related issues during project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, furniture, and construction methods.
- Excellent creativity, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Interior Design.
- Experience with BIM and sustainable design practices.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and safety standards.
